Desert Rose RV Park was created with the RVer in mind.  They broke ground in 1999 and welcomed their first guest in May 2000.  Desert Rose RV Park is family owned and operated. Debbie is the manager and has been there since it's conception. Their logo was created by a high school friend. Debbie has always had the moto “Big Enough to Serve you, and small enough to know you”.  

When you stay with them, you become family.  Desert Rose hires workampers, when they are hired, they become Family.  Debbie said from the very beginning that she would find a happy mix.   She strives to have an open site to accommodate from the weary traveler to the excited grandparent. 

Desert Rose has a variety of pull-through and back-in sites, offered to you by night, week, or month.  Storage for your recreational vehicle is an option as well.  Every year Debbie has projects and improvements planned.  She often says we may be “20 something”, but we are still clean and green.

 

She has a special way of making things age gracefully. She often reflects and can remember many of the workampers and employees over the years. The first couple that were hired, Dolly & Martin. Dolly was a hairdresser by trade (and yes, Debbie let her cut her hair) and Martin was a retired accountant.  One of first international couples were Bev and John, our Canadian friends.  Over the years we have met people from around the world.   

In 2019 we welcomed a new member to the family, which brought the 3rd generation to Desert Rose RV.  Over the years we have hosted MOPS groups, Quilters, and several RV Groups like Minnie Winnies, Good Sam groups and the Carson City Road Runners.
